Seems nigh impossible to approach metal without mentioning "atmosphere" these days. Alas, again I've procured another atmo-black album. Enjoy ov deep melancholy.
This release discerns itself being heavily instrumental, using only clean vocals and an acute focus on painting the aural landscape; like waxing black tides receding into grey mists, sure to return.
This album's artwork completely embodies the aural experience . Arrogant Bastard

As previous Aphonic Threnody albums have already proven, this is quality music. On the edge of Funeral Doom. Just shy, I'd say. Brilliant playing, production, and lyrical content. J. Wukotich

One of my favorite albums of the past several years. I've hard some hard times since this came out, and despite being a very depressing album, it helps me get through those times somehow. Absolutely beautiful, this album is a masterpiece of music. Shawn
